2. Copyright and use of entries

2.1. Any copyright or ownership rights over any photography submitted as part of an Entry will remain with You.

2.2. The photographer(s) - or the agent or representative entering on their behalf - must be the copyright holder(s) or have been authorised by the copyright holder(s) to submit the pictures. This includes, but is not limited to, the documented consent of identifiable third parties (model release form), where applicable.

2.3. All entrants understand that any photograph submitted to the competition may be used by the LPA, London Business School (hereinafter referred to as "LBS") and cultural consultant Candlestar Ltd. for the purpose of marketing and promoting You, the Entry and the LPA only. Such activities may include their appearance in exhibitions, e-mails, newsletters, websites, posts, printed material and magazines during the competition and for a period of three years after the competition is over. Photographs will not be resold or used by any other third party for any other purposes.

2.4. The LPA and LBS commit to include a credit line whenever using images submitted to the competition.

3. Entry disqualification

3.1. Individuals whose likeness appears in the Entry must give consent for that likeness to be published and/or exhibited. In the case of minors (persons under 18), parental/guardian consent must be obtained. The LPA may ask You to provide proof of a signed model release form connected to the Entry.

3.2. LBS and Candlestar Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the “LPA Operations Team”) retains the right to reject or disqualify any Entry it considers inappropriate for the competition, including, but not limited to, content that is vulgar, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane, or that infringes any copyright or other right of any person.

3.3. The photographer(s) registered with each Entry must be the author of the photographs submitted in his/her/their name.

3.4. The LPA Operations Team reserves the rights to request, at any moment, the original RAW files or, when not available, the full format JPEG files belonging to Entry photographs for verification purposes. These must be as delivered by the camera, and provided in a series showing at least three frames before and after the competition entry. Failure to provide these files within seven calendar days from the request will lead to the disqualification of the Entry. The LPA Operations Team may also ask You to provide captions and a description of the scene presented in the Entry as an additional form of verification. If it is determined that an Entry infringes one of these rules after the Entry has won, the LPA Operations Team retains the right to revoke the win.

4. Credit

4.1. Any photograph used by the LPA shall carry a credit line.

4.2. Any failure to provide such credit line shall not be deemed a breach, as long as LPA Operations Team reasonably endeavours to rectify such failure within a reasonable period from the date of notice of such failure.

4.3. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to protect any Entry and its images against misuse by any third party.

5. Competition Administration

5.1. The LPA is administered entirely by LBS with the support of Candlestar Ltd.

5.2. If the LPA Operations Team deems it necessary, it may take any necessary action to ensure fair administration of the competition.

5.3. In entering this photo competition, You agree to comply with the LPA Operation Team's administration methods and will make no claims whatsoever about such methods.

5.4. The LPA Operations Team assumes no responsibility for any damage that may arise from participation in this competition.
